Job Description

• Lead client interactions across multiple accounts from a medical perspective; Participate in client meetings alongside client services and strategy teams
• Oversee, train, and guide the development of direct reports at varying levels on the scientific services team
• Actively participate as a member of new business pitches and identify new business opportunities in collaboration with account services + business development teams
• Drive strategic medical insight behind pitch ideas
• Critically review scientific content developed by the team
• Demonstrate the ability to condense scientific content into strategic insights and actionable ideas across assigned brands
• Provide strategic medical thought leadership and recommendations to clients based on knowledge of external market factors
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market landscape from scientific perspectives + identify changing trends in the industry to ensure accurate scientific strategy is provided
• Clearly communicate with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure client success
• Collaborate with finance and scientific leadership to ensure accurate project staffing

Skills required

• Minimum 8 years scientific services experience within an agency required
• Higher Degree such as PhD, PharmD or MD required
• Medical Communications and Promotional Medical Education experience required
• High attention to detail
• Experience managing large teams
