Senior Vendor Contract Manager (US - REMOTE)

The Senior Vendor Contract Manager is a key member of the VMO team, supporting and managing both the financial and operational aspects of the engagement, from negotiations during sourcing, onboarding/off-boarding, tracking of spending, and assessing supplier performance throughout the life of the contract.

The Senior Vendor Contract Manager is responsible for, however not limited to, the following:

• Manages large Managed Services Provider (MSP) agreements, at scale
• MSP contract reviews, negotiations, change control, and performance reviews
• Provides input and obtains feedback on MSP performance from both the MSP supplier and the CDK service leads
• Evaluates and monitors the MSP service contract to ensure compliance
• Leads, schedules, conducts, and manages various MSP/CDK governance forums
• Assesses performance of the operational delivery on SLA's
• Provides strategic support and analyzing rates to ensure competitive pricing for any contract renewals and negotiations
• Single point of contact between retained operations and the supplier
• Engages with outside and CDK legal, and CDK leadership to obtain input and direction for any negotiations and/or escalations with the MSP and/or withing CDK
• Participates in MSP negotiations, including pre-proposal, RFP, and post-award negotiations
• Understands and navigates through contract structure and hierarchy
• Identifies and appropriately communicates contractual changes that have a financial impact (e.g., new contracts, contract extensions, planned terminations)
• Conducts an annual appraisal of the contract, involving the relevant service managers to ensure continued value
• Maintains up-to-date price benchmarks and identifying best practices
• Seeks out feedback on supplier performance and the services provided

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of vendor contracts management work experience, preferably from a managed services provider environment
• Collaborative, excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated strong influencing & negotiation skills within cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Proven success in dealing with business leaders on all levels and ability to manage effectively within a matrix organizational structure

Salary Ranges: $108,000 - $140,500
