What to expect on the job:
  • Lead the development and execution of annual marketing plans which address all aspects of the marketing mix including:
  • Innovative owned, earned, and paid advertising and media
    • Packaging
    • New product development and launches and base product renovations
    • Pricing
    • Promotion
    • Market Research
  • Work closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Marketing Director and all internal and external functions to translate long-term strategy into highly effective annual marketing and customer marketing plans
  • Establish and enhance product offering through identifying and assessing product and market opportunities
  • Lead commercialization of product initiatives that deliver annual plan
  • Lead brand reviews to analyze and diagnose external and internal brand and/or competitive performance
  • Work with the cross-functional teams (including Consumer Insights, Packaging Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance) to develop and execute key business initiatives
  • Work with key external agency partners to develop successful brand initiatives
  • Manage brand marketing budget while overseeing the assigned brand portfolio including day-to-day management with an understanding of P&L management

Must haves
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive work experience preferably in the CPG industry in marketing, advertising, or a related field in the US market; An in-depth understanding of the US retail customers across channels is required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, communications, economics, statistics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success in consumer-centric organizations
  • Intimate knowledge of new trends in brand building and consumer engagement channels (digital, e-commerce, social, etc.)
  • Agile, forward looking with a test, learn, improve, expand mentality
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • High attention to detail and quality standards
  • Strong understanding of IRI/Nielsen and/or other syndicated data sources
