LEAF Engineers is a frontrunner for success in providing comprehensive mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services. Our engineers are focused on system performance, reliability, flexibility, and ease of maintenance. With an emphasis on teamwork, we reach beyond the traditional MEP approach to solve problems and integrate a more holistic approach to our processes. We are seeking fire sprinkler designers or engineers to support our growing workload.
- Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, architects and fellow electrical engineers to design required coordinated designs.
- Collaborate with entire electrical design team.
- Prepare supporting documents along with wire list plus BOM s.
- Develop accurate and precise product designs complying with recognized drafting standards, company practices, policies and procedures.
- Review supplier drawings conforming with laid down specifications plus dimensional compatibility along with mating assemblies and components.
- Develop, prepare, check and coordinate designs, drawings plus other documents needed for plant electrical systems as per applicable standards and codes.
- Review and coordinate vendor design documents review to ensure comply to design requirements.
- Prepare and oversee electrical power system design having single line diagrams, wiring and elementary diagrams along with layout and circuitry design.
- Present system electrical design support.
- Perform with electrical engineers to develop electrical designs meeting needs and codes.
- Generate Quality Assurance of Electrical, Control Detail Engineering and Design project deliverables.
- Comply project budgets along with schedules to coordinate multidiscipline groups.
- Ensure discipline standards are adhered as set and maintained.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology preferred, Associate s degree required.
- A minimum of 3 years work experience with an engineering consultant.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD design software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors.
- Must be quality minded and self-motivated.
