Responsibilities:
• Drive the UX/UI vision and apply user-centered design and research methods
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that UX quality standards are met
• Work with key product, marketing and technology stakeholders to create a consistent experience across all devices that is in alignment with the corporate and product brand
• Design and implement formal and informal user research methods in order to proactively seek user input on solution ideas and designs.
• Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process by making compelling designs and concepts expressed visually through user personas, journey mapping, flow diagrams, wireframes, design prototypes, and other design deliverables.
• Develop and implement a process including guidelines for conducting effective user testing, focus groups and customer feedback sessions
• Present designs and usability findings to key stakeholders.
Education: Bachelors or Masters in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Human Factors (or equivalent work experience)
Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Human Factors (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of UX/UI experience in designing web and mobile application solutions to complex business problems/processes
• Demonstrated experience in applying user-centered design methods
• Exceptional understanding of fundamental interaction design and usability principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Axure preferred)
• Possess a relentless attention to detail with the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters
• Collaborative team player with the ability to brainstorm well with others (designers, engineers, and product managers) and give and take constructive feedback
• Nice to Have: Visual design skills with ability to demonstrate excellent use of typography, color, imagery, layout, and graphic elements
• Nice to Have: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
