Summary

The Inside Sales Representative I position is responsible for lead generation and qualification, product and software sales and support for supply chain partners, and account management of small to mid-sized component manufacturing locations. This is a collaborative role, working closely with Field Sales, CX, Operations and Marketing.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead generation and qualification

  • Maintain and grow existing relationships with small and mid-sized Component Manufacturer accounts

  • Provide transactional and product support for engineered solutions and software across the construction supply chain (MiTek Builder Products, Triton, Lateral Solutions, Homebuilder Software)

  • Create and maintain an opportunity pipeline by participating in industry related groups and communication channels

  • Demonstrate measurable progress against sales targets and strategic sales initiatives

  • Detailed tracking of new, current, and closed opportunities along with key customer data in Salesforce

  • Establish and maintain high levels of customer engagement using remote/digital channels and occasional in-person meetings

  • Minimal travel required



SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High energy

  • Relationship building

  • Microsoft Office and Salesforce experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a remote team environment

  • Multi-Tasking

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction is a plus
