- In this role, you will be able to lead and contribute in meaningful ways at our Seattle, Washington facility where we produce some of the best Nut Snack Mixes in North America.
- This person will be core to our success and work hands-on each day to help lead and support the production of our high-quality product.

- Partner with Area Leader and Department Manager in developing and delivering fiscal year master plan
- Drive out defects in the process and enhance overall productivity, safety, and quality by collaborating with production teams and leadership
- Responsible for the evaluation of ingredients, optimization of formulas for quality, performance, consumer-liking, and profitability
- Provides technical leadership within cross functional teams to deliver initiatives and departmental projects
- Efficiently and successfully formulate new and improve current products, leveraging consumer/ customer and marketing feedback and sensory shelf-life results
- Builds and leverages strong internal/external network to gain insight, influence, and information
- Help organization stay current with applicable new technologies an ingredients
- Works closely with selection an installation/ start-up of new equipment
- Technical expert on new equipment and ensuring all training and documentation is up to date
- AM (Autonomous Maintenance) Integration support

- A Bachelor s degree in engineering is required (mechanical and chemical preferred)
- Previous manufacturing experience in a co-op/internship is required, preferred experience in food manufacturing
- Familiar with PLC s an instrumentation preferred
- Familiar with Food Process preferred
- Understands technical systems and terminology
- Project management skills
- Problem solving ability
- Solid inter-personal skills
- Ability to teach and lead others
- Open to managing operating teams as needed (as backup or future assignment)
- Can work off shift or weekends as needed
