Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Risk - US Cash Management, the employee will play a key role in exemplifying, as well as influencing functional stakeholders, in incorporating Regulatory Compliance requirements in business initiative delivery under Agile ways of working. The US Cash Management is a digital first offering for US Capital Markets. Working closely with 2nd Line of Defense Regulatory Compliance partners and the US Cash Management value stream teams, this role will also enable US Cash Management to proactively identify, manage and prioritize applicable Regulatory Compliance initiatives, as well as facilitating the execution and implementation of these requirements.

What will you do?

  • Provide thought leadership, and facilitate proactive and effective identification and management of Regulatory Compliance requirements using Agile ways of working
  • Develop a framework to proactively identify Regulatory Compliance policy and procedures in new products implemented by the US Cash Management organization and challenge existing approaches
  • Coordinate, streamline and find synergies in development and implementation of Regulatory Compliance policies and procedures across US Cash Management
  • Represent business risk and product to support enterprise-wide Regulatory Compliance, coordinating feedback from the business and ensuring execution
  • Enable US Cash Management to proactively identify, manage and prioritize applicable Regulatory Compliance updates, as well as facilitate the execution and implementation of these updates
  • Develop and execute a system to effectively and efficiently track applicable Regulatory Compliance requirements associated with regulatory initiatives, and related implementation decisions
  • Consult and educate the US Cash Management value streams on Regulatory Compliance requirements and business implications, fostering a strong risk culture of ownership
  • Orchestrates first line of defence for Regulatory Compliance incidences that arise out of transaction monitoring
  • Support a digital first solution for regulatory compliance requirements

What do you need to succeed?

  • Experience in interpreting, advising and applying legal, regulatory, policy requirements and/or control standards
  • Experience leading or shaping large transformational efforts that offer a digital first solution
  • Experience in or excited to learn Agile way of working (eg, manage backlog, track impediments, quick iterations with done better than perfect)
  • Ability to draw connections between Regulatory Compliance requirements and business initiatives, anticipating impediments and supporting the product teams to clear the path proactively
  • Ability to both grasp big picture and have rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders, and demonstrate strong collaboration skills across the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $150,000- $250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
