ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF - Cyber Security Analyst

The focus of the Cybersecruity Analyst is detecting or identifying and resolving problems related to security of Recology network, systems and infrastructure. The ability to create efficiency in the current processes or implement and operationalize new solutions is essential.

Monitors and remediates cybersecurity systems events including alerts, and Service Desk tickets.
Performs scheduled monitoring and health checks of existing IT security systems.
Assists with managing and developing IT Security policies and procedures
Provides data for cybersecurity KPIs for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Assist with managing Recology's Payment Card Industry (PCI-DSS) program and vendors.
Improve cybersecurity processes and reporting through automation
Manage 3rd party Security Access Review process.
Works with IT Security and Compliance team to coordinate communications with all departments and levels of management to minimize enterprise risk.
Assists with Cybersecurity and IT Operations projects.
Assists IT Management with project planning and goal alignment.
Key stakeholder in IT Security Team of 4, and maintains excellent relationship with IT Operations Team
Strong collaborator and business partner to other departments with demonstrated excellent communication
Assists with audit processes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

Minimum of 3-5 Years in Enterprise Cybersecurity Environment.
Experience working in Microsoft collaborative environment e.g. Teams, Sharepoint, etc.
Strong knowledge of SEIM reporting, event log correlation and incident remediation.
Working knowledge of Azure and Active Directory, Identity Management, Workspace 1, DLP, IDS/IPS, MDM, Systems virtualization and hybrid cloud application technology.
Strong knowledge of Powershell and SQL scripting and automation
Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows (Server and Workstation), Android, IOS, VMWare
Technical Requirements: Direct experience in SEIM environments, strong understanding of NIST cybersecurity controls applications and best practices.
Education: high school or GED Equivalent.
A bachelor's degree in computer science preferred or an educational equivalent.
Knowledge of penetration testing, network security, and the techniques used to expose and correct security flaws
Certifications: Cybersecurity Specialist, CISSP, CISA, or GRC are preferred.
