Business Intelligence Manager

About the role
Zillow Group is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Marketing team. The role will leverage data to make meaningful recommendations that drive Marketing initiatives forward. Ideal candidates are strategic analytical problem solvers who are results-driven and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. They will have a proven track record of developing creative solutions to complex and ambiguous problems, and the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and levels.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company via Workday.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with functional leaders within Marketing to develop strategies, evaluate opportunities, and provide clear and concise recommendations based on comprehensive analysis
Investigate underlying business trends and identify problem areas prior to trend development
Leverage Marketing data and analytics to proactively identify risks and opportunities
Communicate findings and recommendations to Marketing leadership
Formulate and deliver insights around business problems in a detailed and persuasive manner
Provide analytical support to Marketing stakeholders, highlighting findings with measurable solutions
Handle multiple simultaneous requests and juggle competing demands requiring ability to to triage and shift focus when needed

Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $110,100.00 - $175,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
5+ years in a Business Analyst or similar role required
5+ years SQL required
Ability to interpret, draw insights, and formulate recommendations with large datasets
Tableau or similar data visualization software experience required
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills; ability to translate clear insights to business partners
Ability to establish trust and strong working relationships with business partners
Thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
B.S., M.S. in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance or MBA
