Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Consor is currently seeking a motivated Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing water/wastewater infrastructure practice in West Jordan, Utah. You will engage in the growth of our Oregon practice, and advance your career as a future business leader in the region. You will work collaboratively with our growing team, and oversee a diverse array of water and wastewater projects for municipal clients.

• Grow and guide mid- to junior-level staff
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in planning, design, and construction for all sizes of water and wastewater utility conveyance, storage, and site development projects
• Develop new relationships to expand our client base and strengthen relationships through a commitment to quality and service
• Participate in the development of identifying and winning opportunities by working directly with clients, marketers, business developers, and delivery teams
• Gather information, develop and evaluate alternatives, and prepare engineering reports

• Minimum of 10+ years relevant civil engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Demonstrated Project Management experience on multi-disciplinary water and wastewater projects including management of subconsultants
• Experience managing municipal and public sector projects (state, county, city and federal)
• Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team
• Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-discipline teams, and management
• A reputation of integrity, intelligence, and the ability to exercise good judgment

• 15+ years relevant civil engineering experience
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - you clearly convey subtleties in complex designs to your team, client, and stakeholders
• Demonstrated success working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects
• Motivation and the ability to work independently with multiple priorities
