The supplier quality engineer supports all functions of the supplier quality program including qualifications of materials and suppliers, investigating, analyzing, and resolving non-conformances by utilizing robust investigation techniques, analyzing defect trends, and leading continuous improvement projects.
- PPAP, APQP, New product development experience
- GD&T experience
- Certified Quality Engineer
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, related technical discipline, or the equivalent of twelve or more years of applicable technical experience
- Working knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, and Problem-Solving tools
- Proficient in understanding and reading engineering prints
- Proficient in interpreting measurement results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Knowledge of ERP systems and statistical software
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Versed in collaborating effectively across multiple cross-functional groups in multiple levels of the company
