Software Engineer (REMOTE)

Ledgent Technology in Atlanta is actively seeking a REMOTE Software Engineer for a Permanent/Direct-Hire role!!

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer who can:

• Program in any coding language. For instance, some of the programming languages used in our software team are SQL, Python, JSon, .NET languages such as C#, C++, Razor, VBA, VB6, DevExpress, Uniface, Silk and more.
• Quickly shift gears from one project to another
• Be Flexible, Patient, Cooperative.
• Develop and support standard and customized software applications.
• Assist in customer support as needed.
• Assist in managing development projects.
• Meet deadlines.
• Communicate in a clear and concise manner, both verbal and written.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Self-motivated with ability to learn new products and skills as needed.
• Ability to work independently.
• Working with VMWare (Virtual machines).
• Testing and debugging skills.
• Ability to take initiative in making modifications to existing programs.
• Ability to investigate poorly defined problems.

• Ability to ask for assistance on unusual problems.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with a variety of co-workers and customers.

• Collaborating with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
• Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.
• Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
• Testing and deploying programs and applications.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software.
• Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
• Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
