The Head of Sales, Americas for Stellantis Data BU is a key leadership role which will build upon the market momentum to drive new as well as recurring revenue growth in the region for Stellantis' DaaS business unit. In this role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Own and manage regional revenue and bookings targets for the BU
  • Formulate sales strategy and GTM tactics to grow the customer base and achieve revenue targets in support of the BU strategy
  • Develop, lead and manage teams of account executives, account/success managers and managers responsible for channels and alliances
  • Own the entire sales cycle from building strong pipeline of new logo opportunities while ensuring repeat business from existing customers
  • Lead territory planning and revenue target distribution by geo and product lines
  • Work closely with sales ops and technical support teams to accelerate revenue via an efficient customer onboarding/integration process and by expeditiously addressing customer issues
  • Work closely with product and business development teams to expand into new markets/segments
  • Work with CRO and other sales leaders to institutionalize standardized, robust sales/operations practices and a strong reporting and analytics framework
  • Closely monitor and manage sales pipeline, revenue KPIs and sales performance/efficacy metrics
  • Hire a world-class team of sales professional capable of rapidly growing revenue; implement programs to coach, grow, and retain them
  • Work closely with product and marketing teams/leaders to build clear product positioning, GTM messages, sales collaterals, events support, and other pre-sales activities
  • Be the voice of customers providing valuable feedback on product pricing, competitive landscape & differentiation, and emerging market trends, to increase win-rate and help develop new business opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Top Performers will be able to demonstrate Proven track record of standing up, growing, and leading a regional or broader sales team and demonstrated success scaling up revenue through a hyper growth phase
  • Direct experience managing revenue targets and leading quota carrying sales executives and account managers
  • First-hand experience developing new book of business while taking new products to market
  • Broad understanding of B2B data ecosystem and business models; experience taking data as a service/product' to market
  • Experience with data from connected cars and devices is a huge plus
  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills
  • Gravitas and executive presence with an ability to establish strategic business relationships and influence decision makers at customer companies
  • Strong professional network in the region across public as well as private sectors; experience with data-centric verticals such as insurance, mobility, telematics, fleets, advertising, navigation is a plus
  • Track record of attracting and grooming top sales talent
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and readiness to take on challenges that come along with building a new business
  • Startup experience will be a plus
  • Process and data/analytics orientation with experience establishing processes; strong commitment to using tools and technology in managing sales process and tracking/reporting metrics
  • Broad understanding of legal/policy frameworks like GDPR/CCPA that govern data licensing and an unwavering commitment to data protection and privacy
  • Ability to implement and enforce strong business ethics across the entire organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of sales experience; 5+ in data, technology or related fields 7+ years leading sales teams/functions with progressively higher scope; 3+ years in regional leadership or broader roles
  • Experience leading a global sales team is a strong plus
  • Experience leading biz dev, professional services, sales engineering team is a plus
  • MBA a plus
