Senior Electrical Engineer

• Assumes Senior Electrical Engineer role working in conjunction with Architectural, Mechanical, and other disciplines designing the built environment.
• Leads design of overall normal and emergency power distribution systems in commercial, academic, and medical facilities.
• Design of branch circuit power distribution systems.
• Design of Building Interior and Exterior Lighting Systems and Controls.
• Design of fire alarm system
• Perform calculations to support system designs.
• Perform CA tasks including review submittals/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and CA meeting attendance.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate field installations and conduct field observations.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Proficient in Project Management and interpersonal skills to maintain successful client relationships.
• Strong familiarity with current NEC and Building Codes.
• Develops Electrical and Fire Alarm Specifications.

Technology/Computer Experience:

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office software.

Experience:

• 10+ years of recent experience in Electrical Engineering design with an architectural or MEP firm.

Requirements:

• Current PE registration (State of Texas).
• Current valid driver's license and insurable driving record
