About the teamThe Brand and Marketing Design team works closely with all go-to-market, marketing, sales, communications and product efforts.They work on everything from events (like our global user event, Sessions), Stripe Press, marketing campaigns, product launches, our brand foundation and more.
The team defines the Stripe brand and helps to bring it to life across all user touchpoints.
This team works on the most visible parts of Stripe so we're looking for a very experienced leader who can build out an already well-functioning and highly skilled team composed of multiple functions including a diverse group of designers, art directors, producers and more.
They are responsible for visual identity systems and the creative deliverables that make our brand real across all forms of media—online and offline.

What you'll doAs the Head of Brand and Marketing Design, you'll partner with executive leadership to define our brand and creative strategy and take Stripe from a grassroots brand to a global superbrand.
Lead, grow and inspire the global teams designing Stripe's brand including:
- Brand Systems
- Brand Marketing
- Events (internal and external)
- Brand Communications (internal and external)
- Editorial (e.g. Stripe Press, film and new media)
- Demand Generation
- Central and Regional Marketing
- Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams including Marketing, Comms, Product Management, Product Engineering, and senior leadership to develop and maintain consistent tone, identity, creative strategy for all brand products across all touch points
- Oversee all campaign development and brand strategies —including strategic collaboration with marketing, campaign development, testing programs and iteration, creative development, production and execution as well as our internal and external creative partners to ensure work meets the highest quality standards and has meaningful impact
- Provide thought leadership in and outside the company and be a champion for our brand, culture and values
Minimum requirements
- You have 12+ years of people management and 8+ years of experience as a Creative Director or similar role
- You have a track record of building strong and effective creative organizations in a rapidly growing environment and excel at motivating and inspiring people at all levels to do their best work.
- You have experience leading global brands with a multi-year vision and relentless user-focus
