Position Summary: Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Hybrid - San Diego, CA

Required Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Software, or Systems Engineering; Computer Science; Information Systems, or Information Technology.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Required Experience:
Ten (10) years of direct work experience with Joint C4ISR and data systems.
Eight (8) years of direct work experience in: Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of C4ISR, or Information Systems (IS), Cybersecurity, or Information Technology (IT) systems.
Six (6) years with specific experience to include: Working within an AGILE Project Team, Scheduling Work, Documenting Technical Performance and Quality, and Problem Resolution.
Must have intimate working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and MS Project.
Responsibilities:
Sancorp Consulting, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Joint Staff J7 Joint Wargaming and Experimentation Division (JWED). The following are examples of responsibilities:
Ensuring that the appropriate type and scope of experimentation has been developed.
Ensuring the full spectrum of the requirement landscape, to include edge cases analysis, will be covered with the proposed architecture.
Analysis of any available "economies of scale" by the leveraging of ongoing exercises to accomplish the identified analysis work.
Ensuring that the developed experimentation architecture is focused on closing knowledge gaps and satisfying CRCs.
Development of a data federation architecture of existing experimentation data repositories with JExNet as a hub by extending the DoD data strategy to use data in a federated manner.
Defining of data formatting standards for data not in the Joint Experimentation Network (JExNet).
Defining of data formatting standards for Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) funded experiments.
Defining of data pipelines and development team tasking.
Develop procedures and standards to setup pipelines during JExNet data aggregation phase.
Normalize data from a variety of experimentation sources.
Implement APIs for data sharing with other experimentation databases.
Supporting the development of concepts, requirements, architectures and other integrative activities.
Participate in data science and technical planning and working activities.
Defining a set of concepts, architectures, and requirements for JExNet which enables RDER across near, mid, and long term.
Support the establishment of data pipelines which provide data to meet RDER output requirements.
Updating the JExNet platform to support RDER processes and standards across both annual management and administration battle rhythms, in each work area and from end to end of experiment lifecycles.
