The Payments product team is looking for a Product Manager to define and drive new product initiatives focusing on improving and innovating the payments experience in Apple's digital storefronts and services eg App Store, iTunes, Apple TV+, Fitness +, Apple Books and more. In this role you will ideate, draft and shape new payment features and closely collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, Business Development, Legal, and many other cross functional teams across Apple. Payments should be exciting for you. You get ecommerce, app economy, payments and ongoing financial services evolution. You should combine technical fluency, a strong sense of user experience, tact and business insight. You should be able to simplify complex concepts, articulate and explain your thoughts affectively, question to gain insights and understand different point of views. You are very proficient leveraging data and details. This is a Full time role located in our Cupertino, CA headquarters.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years in a product management role, or similar role, and have successfully delivered product to market
  • Prior hands-on experience software product design and/or development
  • Deep understanding of digital payments technology and trends
  • Strong communication skills; experience influencing and driving consensus with cross-functional teams at all levels of organization
  • Experience in structuring and leading large-scale, sophisticated cross functional projects
  • Analytical capabilities; with ability to make decision using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Track record of articulating thoughts and express ideas through written and/or verbal communication to internal and external partners

Product Managers in payment organizations sit at the intersection of engineering, operations, design and business teams. In this role you will: Seek opportunities for new product development, improvement & optimization based on research & user feedbacks Conceptualize and drive projects globally with opposing priorities, multiple partners, and quick timelines Lead cross-functional projects that help evolve our platform capabilities and break through operating constraints to support a constantly evolving payment ecosystem Collaborate with software engineering and product designers to define product roadmap and strategy Support product planning and prioritization of critical global initiatives Build consensus among teams and influence decision-making within leadership

Education & Experience

Bachelor's/Master's degrees in Business, Computer Science or equivalent required
