- This role is responsible for all Recruitment Efforts in the Buffalo NY Office.
- This includes the recruitment for our Top-Rated Internship Program and recruiting highly talented individuals to join our firm as Full Time Financial Representatives/Advisors.
- The Director of Recruiting s primary responsibility in the office to build high-level quality relationships in the community and to promote the Northwestern Mutual career, generate referrals and develop centers of influence (COIs).
- Creativity, exceptional communication skills and drive to achieve are critical in this position.
- He or she will be responsible for the recruiting plan to reach activity and contract goals.
- Simultaneously, this role will be relied upon to build out our recruiting processes from the initial interview to the contracting of that candidate who will be joining our growing firm!
- Primary Responsibilities: *
- Promote the benefits of office growth and recruiting successes within the office and build on those relationships to be future referral sources.
- Actively participate in the community to find the highly talented people we are looking for!
- Must be proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter and Recruiter Lite to effectively source ideal candidates.
- Review resumes and schedule initial interviews.
- Complete Initial Interviews with the candidate to determine if they fit our desired recruit.
- In this initial interview the Director of Recruiting will determine if the individual hits our specific recruiting criteria.
- If He or She believes they could be our next great Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative/Advisor, the determination will be made to advance the candidate to the next phase of the interviewing process.
- From there, he or she will determine if they continue through the Hiring Process.
- Be knowledgeable on information and language regarding the financial representative career and each step of the selection process
- The Director of Recruiting will be responsible for reporting Actual vs.
- needed Activity to the Managing Director and the Managing Partner.
- The Director of Recruiting is an instrumental employee to the Buffalo Organization.
- It is Expected that this individual would be a leader in our office.
- The would be done through their recruiting results and their positive attitude and participation in office functions and leadership team meetings.
- Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis
- Utilize home office-supported software to maintain the candidate database and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
- Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements
- Prepare activity/results for leadership team meetings and coordinate regular meetings to review, assess, and establish actions based on the data
- Experience with prospecting and generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions.
- Strong communication skills required with the ability to build rapport and influence others
- Three or more years experience in sales, recruiting or another related field
- Bachelor s degree preferred
- Interest and Knowledge/Experience in the financial services or related industry is desired

- Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $65,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
- Monday to Friday
- Recruiting: 3 years (Preferred)
