KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, Business Transformation Delivery to join our Operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply authoritative command of business transformation delivery and provide thoughtful analysis in real-time with a focus on vision, value, speed, talent and benefits realization; Drive and ensure consistent methodology, exceptional delivery and benefits realization consistent with the organization's multi-year expense targets of $500MM+
  • Understand services and actively identify opportunities to better serve internal clients; translate strategy of the firm into a portfolio of business transformation efforts which are large scale and cross functional; these efforts span firmwide, the Audit, Tax, Advisory practices, as well as middle and back office; Accountable for business transformation framework and productivity metrics
  • Direct and have overall accountability for a team, including responsibility for the group's organization, recruiting, coaching and mentoring of staff; May have people management responsibility for multiple senior and/or intermediate level professionals, ensuring efficient allocation and maximum utilization of resources across the teams; Ensure the right initiatives are undertaken and benefits are being fully realized throughout the organization and firm; Strategic and proactive responsibility for several ongoing, concurrent, highly complex or broad-scope projects, processes, or programs which impact the firm; Drive continual innovation within those projects or processes to achieve operational excellence and enhanced quality; and act as senior executive level escalation point ensuring business expectations, goals and objectives are met for internal clients
  • Establish and drive achievement of the team's strategic goals, objectives and priorities and, through such, contribute to the establishment and achievement of the business transformation delivery strategic goals, objectives and priorities as aligned to those of the overall firm; Provide a governance structure and ensure accountability and enable the predictability of the outcomes of each transformation initiative
  • Engage in authoritative and independent decision-making on matters of high complexity and impact; and serve as a partner delegate on matters requiring subject matter expertise by demonstrating strong executive presence and excellent command of the matter at hand; Act as a trusted strategic partner, anticipate needs and drive the identification of transformational opportunities for the organization, stakeholders, senior leadership and the firm; Act as a subject matter resource in one or more areas, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services; Lead presentations, workshops and proposals for medium to high complex projects and provide subject matter insight in relevant areas
  • Drive alignment on vision through clear communication and direction on identified business challenges, in-scope activities and best-practice approaches for solutioning; Consult with internal clients to model future-state, develop roadmaps and create business cases in support of business transformation efforts

Qualifications:

  • Minimum fifteen years of recent experience managing and delivering large-scale projects and transformation programs, including project planning and monitoring, resource management (including project finances), benefits realization
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to drive the transformational agenda; demonstrated ability to influence, educate and interact with diverse leaders and teams across the organization; external consulting experience preferred
  • Experience creating compelling business cases and partnering with Finance & Accounting on efficiencies; ability to think about objectives from multiple perspectives and consider non-conventional ideas and approaches for achieving objectives; ability to manage multiple complex concurrent programs, applying deep expertise to make concrete decisions that impact the organization and the firm
  • Ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions; Lead and ensure execution of strategic initiatives for the organization; Ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), for example.

Colorado Salary Range:
Low: $231400 - High: $492800 (CO)
