Overview:
- We are looking for a Director of Product to drive the product vision and execution
- Defining, managing and validating the overall product vision for ARRO.
- High-level knowledge of product development goals and it is their responsibility to communicate those goals to the rest of the team.
- Communication with all the stakeholders, including the customers, development team, and business managers.
- Ensure all stakeholders understand product goals, and that those goals are in line with the business objectives.
- Maintain a cohesive and singular vision regarding the product
- Adapt to the fast-paced and flexible nature of agile product development
- Understand and adapt to the ever-changing nature of the software market and client needs
- Keep the stakeholders on the same page
- Develop and monitor product and business value success metrics
- Communicate with C Level Product and Business Value metrics
- Ensure the feasibility of the product with respect to business objectives
- Profitability, budgeting, expense controls and balancing product development, product support and revenue to ensure the stability of the product, the team and the ARRO organization. Ownership the growth of ARRO and its stability.
- Review roadmap alignment with vision and goals
- Review implementation plan alignment with vision and goals
- Expand and lead a high performing team to deliver on the vision and goals
- Look for ways to constantly keep the ball moving forward by shipping, analyzing, researching, and learning week in and week out
- Collaborate with product design, implementation and business development to ensure alignment with vision and goals
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 5+ in product management roles in the professional service industry
- 8+ years of experience with team leadership, people management, cross-functional team leadership, or leadership
- 3+ years of consulting experience
- A strong communicator: you are effective at communicating the strategy and the how we get there at varying levels - executive, cross-functional teams, and to your team
- Fiercely competitive: you operate with a sense of urgency, creativity, and curiosity for how we can improve the lives of our customers and our pros
- Experience managing and coaching a team; passion for creating an environment where creative solutions are nurtured
- Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities
- Strong ability to collaborate across functions and levels seamlessly juggling the priorities of multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Experience in emergency management and response (National Guard, State/County ESF)
- Experience managing a cross functional team, including sales, help desk and product development
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing large scale budgets, P&L and balance of product and business objectives
- Experience developing product roadmaps
