Ford Motor Company is looking for Quality Engineering Support at various North American Assembly Plants. Experienced Quality Engineers only.

Required Roles & Responsibilities

· Own the Quality and the capability of the manufacturing processes within Assembly

· Apply engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products by supporting Manufacturing Process Engineering activity and assigned VRTs

· Drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity by Implementing interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tools and problem-solving methodology

· Play an integral part in the Launch process by establishing and monitor quality target levels for each build and validation of workstations readiness

· Lead and conduct process audits to ensure process discipline is consistent with Vehicle Operations guidelines

· Deliver capable processes and tools for Trim and Chassis Assembly operations

· Lead role in resolving assembly related concerns. Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices.

· Support ISO 14001 compliance and support internal ISO auditing and compliance as required

· Identify throughput constraints and drive root cause improvements

· Manage and direct statistical process control activities..

· Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers

· Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility

· Integrate part in the rebalance process ensuring workstation are properly set up to reduce quality impacts

· Identify throughput constraints and drive root cause improvements

· Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,200.00 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime
