Job Summary
UT Southwestern is looking to hire an Information Security Systems Administrator I in their SWHR-IR department.
Experience and Education
Required:
High School graduation or GED equivalent and four (4) years experience in computer environment including at least two (2) years experience providing technical computer support to customers.
Job Duties:
- Provide training and assistance to users with access request forms, signing on to the system and general security awareness.
- Maintenance of appropriate documentation of the user request process including the authorization forms.
- Fulfill service requests submitted through the Call Center.
- Provide training and assistance to users with access request forms, signing on to the system and general security awareness.
- Assist in troubleshooting routine user access problems referring complex problems to the Security Administrator II or III or another technical professional.
- Assist in supporting and faciltating departmental initiatives and procedures, to ensure compliance with applicable internal and external regulations and guidelines.
- Reports suspected violations of security policy or procedures, to the Information Security Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information
