Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the customer, suppliers, project leaders and key leadership stakeholders regarding supplier quality activity.
- Perform on-site Supplier Quality Performance Assessments.
- Review & understand supplier scorecard KPI's (Key Process Indicators) and identify causes of quality poor performance.
- Identify opportunities / areas of quality improvements and partner with the supplier to develop a robust quality improvement plan.
- Manage quality improvement action rail and supplier on-site follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed and effective.
- Effectively create reports communicate and report out to the customer
- Review First Article Inspection package (AS9102).
- Help participate with PPAP / PFMEA's.
- Perform product and process audits.
- Conduct process capability assessments and audits.
- Manage reported product Non-conformances, conduct RCCA (Root Cause, Corrective Action) analysis and drive product quality improvements.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- BS degree in Engineering or Technical field. Other degrees w/ additional relevant experience will be considered.
- 9+ years' relevant experience in Quality / Manufacturing / Industrial / Supply Chain Engineering.
- Experience working with suppliers of different commodities and manufacturing processes
- Familiar with quality systems, processes, tools, from contract review, manufacturing, inspection, to packaging and shipping.
- Experience with part and process evaluation. Measurement and/or Inspection experience.
- History of identifying and resolving quality and manufacturing issues, risk assessment, utilization of formal quality RC-CA tools and processes, MRB/CAB/CAPA
- Familiar with PPAP process & requirements (AS9145)
- Ability to read/interpret drawings including understanding of GD&T
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization to drive changes, resolve issues, and understand risk to compliance and the business
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Leading/Training/Mentoring others.
- Proficiency using MS Office suite
- Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment

- US Citizen required
Desired Skills:
- Aerospace experience with plastics
- Strong RC and problem solving skills.
- Participated on PPAP / PFMEA process
