Our client, a growing Life Sciences firm in Cambridge, is looking for a FANTASTIC, ENERGETIC, DRIVEN Administrative Assistant to join their team! They are looking for an individual who is personable, professional, and capable of managing many tasks at once. This person must be ready for the challenges and responsibilities that come from working in a busy, fast-paced office. This is an opportunity to be involved in General Administrative and HR related projects!

Responsibilities:


-Welcome and manage all visitors by greeting, directing, and answering all questions in a warm and friendly manner.

-General upkeep of kitchen and other common areas, ensuring general organization and stock of supplies; Oversee the office supply inventory; manage related purchasing activity.

-Order and restock all office supplies, snacks, and beverages for the company on a weekly/biweekly basis.

-Assist in calendar management & scheduling appointments.

-Answer, direct, and address incoming telephone inquiries.

-Oversee general office operations including upkeep of office records and filing system.

-Track and monitor activities, including data collection and entry, recording payments, and record keeping.

-Assist with printing decks and other materials for various teams.

-Provide back-up admin support to other administrative members (e.g., heavy travel, calendar management, ad hoc projects, etc.).


Qualifications:


-Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years relevant work experience preferred.

-Someone who enjoys interacting with wide range of people with excellent interpersonal skills.

-Ability to multitask and work independently within a team environment.

-A detail-oriented and adaptable work ethic.

-Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

-Willingness to learn/great attitude.

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) along with corresponding practical business experience.
