Purpose of the position: The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities including but not limited to:


  • Understand and reinforce the Mountain Motorsports mission statement. Greatly exceed expectations. We do the unexpected, we achieve excellence through teamwork and we constantly improve.

  • Collaborate with General managers and other HR staff when necessary to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

  • Works with the HR Director to identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Post job requisitions in HRIS and outside sources such as Facebook,Linked in ,Motorcycle industry jobs etc…

  • Create and implement new sourcing strategies to keep us ahead of hiring and recruiting trends and procurement of new sources.

  • Screen applications in a timely and efficient manner and select qualified candidates and accurately move applicants through the HRIS system.

  • Schedule interviews and assist with the interview process, including attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors.

  • Assist HR Director with interview tools and training for the in store team to utilize in their interviews.

  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the interview ,offer and onboarding process.

  • Communicate and assist with relocation and housing assistance when needed. Work with the HR Director and GM to overcome hurdles.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. Source new effective opportunities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Regular, predictable attendance in the office is required.

  • Travel to different locations as needed

  • Take 1 continuing education class per year. Must be approved by the HR Director



Education and Experience:


  • 2 years of successful recruiting experience with a reputable staffing agency, recruiting agency or similar business with strong track record



Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation/reasoning tactics.

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Good understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.· Proficient with Google Suite, Trello or related software.Clean MVR with ability to be insurable on Company insurance.

  • Clean MVR with the ability to drive to locations as needed and be insurable under the company garage liability insurance.



Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

  • Continuous oral communication

  • Continuous hearing at a conversational level

  • Frequent telephone and computer usage


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Occasional exposure to changes in temperature and humidity

  • Frequent working with and around others

  • Occasional work around moving objects, (including dogs and other service animals)

  • Noise level is low to high
