** This position requires being available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, work 2 weekends each month, flexibility to work between the hours of 2pm-1am, and ability to work overtime and holidays as needed (sometimes on short notice) out of our offices located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. **
Currently, Meijer is seeking a Security Operations Center Coordinator - 2nd Shift. This position requires reporting to Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Coordinator position is responsible for providing Asset Protection support for the company through use of camera technology, functional job knowledge, and experience. Provides a centralized and continuous resource for concerns involving safety, security, and fire protection. Maintain and communicate the priorities of Asset Protection: Life Safety, Civil Liability, and Property Loss when assisting all locations with concerns. Escalate and communicate situations to appropriate Asset Protection leadership as necessary. Maintain and update various Asset Protection systems and databases for accurate retrieval of information. Practice 200% Safety - Self and Others.
Responsibilities:
Drive results in critical incident communication, internal & external risk awareness, fraud prevention, investigation support, and technical support.
Contact emergency dispatch on behalf of stores in critical/emergency situations.
Conduct initial investigation support and partner with Regional Asset Protection teams.
Conduct video audits to identify process adherence, safety concerns, and respond to financial crime to reduce losses.
Triage requests/concerns and contact the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Participate in special projects, activities, and support the organization by providing ad hoc information and reports as directed by leadership.
Thoroughly document their actions and reports.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Asset Protection certification preferred.
Ability to think strategically and make discretionary recommendations and decisions.
Ability to prioritize time to achieve the greatest positive impact to the organization.
Ability to effectively lead during critical situations when not on premise.
Understanding of call center technology.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Strong investigative skills/techniques.
Understanding of retail operations.
