Large Drives (LD) People & Organization (P&O) is looking for a Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Partner with outstanding creativity, curiosity, and a relentless focus on driving optimal hiring outcomes and a passion for DE&I for U.S. and Canada. In this dynamic role you will:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle from conducting recruiting strategy meetings to crafting requisitions to development and execution of the sourcing strategy, to facilitating the candidate selection process to closing and pre-boarding
  • Use multiple creative techniques to proactively identify and attract passive talent through a variety of tactics such as (but not limited to) networking, social media (LinkedIn), employee referrals, job postings, events, and targeted recruitment marketing
  • Create and implement data-driven talent sourcing strategies. Sourcing strategy execution may involve partnership with a Talent Sourcing Specialist and/or direct sourcing via social media and via other tools and platforms
  • Serve as the primary POC for candidates as they advance throughout the hiring lifecycle to create outstanding candidate experiences. You will also advise hiring stakeholders regarding their role in creating a great candidate experience
  • Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion by consulting with hiring stakeholders and applying a DE&I lens on the end-to-end process, including (but not limited to): writing inclusive job postings, developing attraction and sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent pools, structured selection strategy, diverse interview panels, and closing candidates with moments of impact
  • Create rapid feedback loops with hiring stakeholders to ensure they're aware of progress and engaged in recalibration when necessary
  • Ensure adherence to Siemens talent acquisition policies, systems, and procedures and compliance with applicable governmental regulations and legislation
  • Executing of DE&I projects - Defining, implementing and delivery of respective DE&I standards, principles and tools in alignment with policies and strategy; Identifying barriers to attracting and providing an inclusive environment for under-represented communities; owning the creation, development and delivery of communications of inclusion topics in conjunction with the LD US Communications team.
  • Stakeholder management - Establish and maintain good collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders and develop their influencing skills; Encourage relevant parties to become involved and informed by acting as an ambassador for DE&I. Collaborate and liaise with external DE&I community groups to develop mutually beneficial relationships to help advance the D&I and equality strategies; Promote visibility of Siemens' diversity initiatives, both internally and externally.
  • Thought leadership - Maintain and build up-to-date knowledge and expertise of DE&I trends (current and emerging); Be an internal consultant across the organization; Help position Siemens LD externally as an inspiration, equal, accessible, and inclusive employer of choice.
  • DE&I champion network - Coordinate the DE&I champion network (be the "common link") by empowering and supporting Champions and fostering best practice sharing across the organization and between internal DE&I Employee Resource Groups.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • BS/BA in related subject
  • Min. of 7 years of talent recruiting experience in related industry
  • Min. of 1 to 3 years' experience in the promotion of DE&I initiatives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and candidates
  • Experience with high volume recruitment
  • Demonstrated problem solving and recruitment strategic capabilities
  • Experience with ATS and CRM systems with a keen understanding of data integrity
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Talent mapping and strategic talent pipelining experience is a plus
  • Agile talent acquisition experience is a plus (sprints, agile sourcing, Kanban, scrum)
