As a plant learning specialist , you will : Coordinate delivery of training programs. Update training materials and supports leadership in execution.

Ensure consistency and accuracy of training materials.Partner with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.

Prepare training outlines and lesson plans relevant to the training material.Schedule, track and maintain training programs.

Take direction from appropriate leader regarding training needs to meet business objectives. Work with leadership to develop implementation plans to ensure that training initiatives are met.

Coordinate with other learning specialists to develop programs and create best practices. Work with leadership to ensure that course materials are current and relevant to training needs.

Facilitate on-the-job training and ongoing process improvements.Track and analyze training programs by examining learner satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance.

Recommend and may implement suggestions for improvements.Use document control system to create and / or update operating procedures and other technical documentation.

Work cross-functionally as needed with representatives from EHS, QA, PRO, and other departments.Communicate as needed with staffing agencies that supply contingent workers.

Understand and follow established safety guidelines, programs and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidents.

Support food safety, legality and quality programs.Maintain product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures.

Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Starbucks Mission & Values.Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctualityWe’d love to hear from people with : Manufacturing or distribution environment (2 years)Facilitation of on-the-job training (1 year)High school diploma / GED, US military service or equivalentAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingFlexibility to work overtime as required, even on short noticeOrganizational skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsTime management skills and ability to prioritize tasks based on evolving needsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to follow and provide directionAbility to work in accordance with safety, quality and sanitation standards, policies and proceduresAbility to work variable shifts to support business needsKnowledge of team dynamicsPreferred Qualifications : Experience with document control systemsFamiliarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards including Preventive Controls for Human Food (FDA Code of Federal Regulations) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
