We are seeking a Utilization Review Coordinator for our Franklin, TN office.
Summary
Our successful Utilization Review Coordinator candidate will be an organized, efficient, proactive and responsive self-starter. They’ll have a high IQ & EQ, enjoy working collaboratively, be focused, and able to prioritize while juggling multiple situations simultaneously. Responsibilities
The Utilization Review Coordinator performs all utilization reviews for detoxification and residential treatment services with insurance companies. The coordinator functions as a clinical liaison between payers, the treatment team, and the business office, providing information and feedback to assist in optimum patient care reimbursement.
Proactively gather information from the treatment team and patient records
Apply clinical knowledge and present data in an articulate manner, both verbally and in writing
Familiarize self with each insurance provider’s requirements to prove medical necessity at every level of care offered in the facility
Review medical and clinical records to ensure providers’ documentation meets insurance company criteria for appropriate level of care
Where necessary, work with providers and clinical staff to train on proper documentation methods
Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure all provided care is authorized and approved
Communicate results of all reviews to business office to ensure timely and accurate billing
Qualification's:
Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health or related field
Novice understanding of ASAM criteria
Knowledge of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
Knowledge of common clinical interventions for SUD’s and co-occurring disorders
The Utilization Review Coordinator role will be at our Franklin, TN office.
Compensation is $45-55K annually Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, Life, 401K, Paid Time Off, Family Leave).
Additional Compensation includes but is not limited to the following:
Student loan repayment after 6 months of employment.(With a one year contract of employment)
Yearly Contribution Max: $5,000.00.
Contributions are tax free.
All contributions are sent directly to the servicer of the loan.
Annual increase structure at 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years.
