The GCC Client Financial Solutions team manages portfolio-based loss mitigation and collection efforts and serves as a risk mitigation team providing our Corporate & Small Business clients with customized payment solutions. As a ** Sr. Commercial Loss Mitigation Specialist** , you will negotiate customized short-term payment resolution tions with high exposure/high risk Corporations/Small Businesses that have an outstanding past due balance with American Express. You will manage a portfolio of high exposure Corporate Program and or Small Business accounts needing specialized workout payment options that are structured to fit the client's ability to pay and satisfies American Express' need to be repaid timely. You will examine client's financial health, including income, expenses, and profitability, and work to establish a mutually beneficial resolution. Responsibilities: + This position will require a highly organized and deadline driven individual with strong commercial financial statement knowledge and background in commercial loan workout. Incumbent will be responsible for negotiating payment plans and collecting directly from the customers. + Incumbent will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit risk analysis for complex small and mid-sized business customers who have high credit exposure or request high spending capacity. Financial analysis will focus on the client's ability to pay, including Accounts Receivable aging and financial statements review. Knowledge of a wide range of industries and the associated risk is critical. Will work closely with leadership in the day-to-day operation of the team. + Incumbent will be responsible for coaching and providing mentorship to Junior Analysts.
