Project Engineer

APG Polytech USA Holdings, Inc. is currently seeking an Experienced Project Engineer in Houston, TX. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for all of the Engineering and Technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.Salary Commensurate With Experience: Starting at $93,000 annuallyResponsibilities:1. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering project works.2. Interact with contractors, interpret the needs/requirements and represent the company in the field.3. Perform overall quality control of the work (i.E. budget, schedule, plans, and performance), report regularly on project status and change management.4. Demonstrate strong cooperation, communication and collaboration with ProjectManager, Project Participants and Senior Project Manager to create project methods and achieve the project goal.5. Review engineering tasks and initiative necessary corrective actions.6. Create frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.7. Establish field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.8. Ensure the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.Qualifications / Requirements:* A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.* Over 2 years' field and project planning experience.* Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.* Excellent time management and team work skills.* Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.* Domestic travel will be required for this position.APG Polytech USA Holdings, Inc. parent company, Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC), was founded in 1954 and is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
