Your role at Clorox:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Brand Engagement, the Brand Engagement Manager will have subject matter expertise in the content space spanning PR, digital & social media (organic and paid) campaign / content development and execution. The right candidate will have a pulse on culturally relevant trends and a knack for translating those trends in brand relevant activations and executions. They will have a strong POV on how to leverage content to engage consumers in our brand purpose and will help liasse between agencies, vendors, partners and the internal brand management team to help guide work that will impact business priorities.

The Kingsford brand is iconic in the grilling fuel space. We’re proud to say that Kingsford has been made in the USA with 100% North American ingredients for over a century. Our charcoal briquettes, hardwood pellets, and more fuel real wood smoke and fire-grilled flavor at cookouts across the country. Kingsford ignites more than just the grill—we help our consumers build great moments and memories with friends and family. As Brand Engagement Manager, you will have the opportunity to help shape the Kingsford voice and identify content strategies that will inspire and engage shoppers to embrace the grilling lifestyle.

In this role, you will:

1. Content:

  • Help shape and amplify a cohesive voice for Kingsford Charcoal, an iconic lifestyle brand. Manage creative content and communication development that drives the brand’s purpose & positioning and maximizes business results.

  • Execution and measurement of organic and paid social, influencer and experiential programs that support the business and omni channel on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.

  • Interact with internal and external partners to execute the brand’s content strategy from concept to completion, including overseeing creative/content development, organizing and tracking assets and timelines.

  • Responsible for keeping a pulse on culturally relevant trends across social channels and identifying content opportunities (paid/organic) that will drive awareness, affinity, and engagement with brand.

  • Track and analyze key marketing metrics across organic and paid content to maximize effectiveness and ROI.

  • Community management for social channels. Includes creating monthly content calendars, developing and scheduling posts, audience engagement and community building.

2. Public Relations:

  • Assist in managing our PR agency developing campaigns, partnerships and messaging that brings our brand purpose to life in a meaningful way.

What we look for:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the content marketing space for consumer brands.

  • Agency & CPG experience a plus.

  • Experience with a lifestyle, grilling, or food brand preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • An ability for both strategic and creative thinking, balanced with a strong business acumen

  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to work collaboratively with other functions

  • Extremely organized and able to manage multiple priorities

  • A sense of diligence, accountability, bias toward action
