Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree - accounting preferred not required

Minimum of 2-3+ years experience in progressive AP or similar roles (Hands on experience not managerial)

Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle a big plus)

Proficiency in Excel

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Manager of Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day accounts payable (AP) related activities. Primary activities involve the processing of accounts payable, interacting with stakeholders and suppliers within a high-volume, SOX compliant

internal control environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Review and disseminate correspondence in two separate accounting emails.

Forward emailed invoices to Oracle OCR to sync to Oracle for processing.

Processing AP review invoices to ensure invoice is processed to correct purchase order. Process invoice to appropriate purchase line item. Asses if sales tax is

appropriately billed.

Triage invoice discrepancies for further review. Interact with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and invoice holds.

Interact cross-functionally with stakeholders in various departments.

Respond to supplier invoice and payment status request.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Acquire expert knowledge in accounting systems and continuously assess processes for improvements.

Assist in external audits and provide support as necessary

Perform special projects and other tasks as needed by the Accounting Department

Provide back up to

Accounts Payable Sr. Analyst.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree - accounting preferred not required

Minimum of 2 years experience in progressive AP or similar roles

Public company, biotech/pharma experience preferred

Experience with and understanding of the AP process

Understanding of accrual-based accounting concepts

Experience working with ERP systems

Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

Ability to budget and manage time appropriately

Technical Skills:

Understanding of accrual-based accounting concepts

Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle a big plus)

Proficiency in Excel
