With a focus on new product introductions and within a collaborative team selling environment The Business Relationship Manager will:

  • Identify and close new business with a focus on working with Regional Directors, Business Development and Strategic Partners to drive Avantor's Biopharma success
  • Implement strategic engagement and collaboration with generalist teams across all segments: PBI/ EMR
  • Sell and communicate the Biopharma product portfolio to Sales Representatives and customers
  • Manage local Biopharma production and implement effective communication to stakeholders re: sales goals, trends, and performance in support of local sales growth plans
  • Be accountable for overall territory sales success ownership in partnership with corporate Sales Representatives and the management team by attending regional meetings, strategy sessions, QBRs (quarterly business reviews) and sales meetings
  • Keep up to date with customer opportunities and information submitted into SFDC.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • BS degree or equivalent

Required Experience (Three+ years):

  • Biopharma; lab production supply or production chemical sales
  • Key account sales and management
  • Facilitating senior level sales presentations

Preferred Experience:

  • Leadership
  • Microsoft Office
  • Accounts strategy formulation
  • Negotiating and managing sales contracts
  • Managing a sales pipeline

Travel:

* Up to 50% (local)

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in a home office environment with extensive regional travel to customer locations.
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
