Quality Data Coordinator

Job Description
The BAE Systems site in Radford, Virginia is seeking a Quality Data Coordinator. In this role, the Quality Data Coordinator will report directly to the Quality Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Management of quality data to create metrics for the organization to understand trends
• Analysis of quality data to identify opportunities for improvement and proactive measures to improve quality performance
• Support the Internal Quality Audit Program by assisting in and/or performing audits of the Quality Management System
• Perform document audits
• Assist the Document Control Administrator as needed
• Document meeting minutes for the Corrective Action Board reviews and other quality related review meetings
• Tracking and follow up of Quality Corrective Actions
• Track open action items from Quality Management Reviews, Corrective Action Board meetings and other quality related meetings to completion
• Track status of Quality Management System objectives and report quarterly across the organization
• Assist with department budget management

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g biology, chemistry, data analystics);
• Computer based skills including but not limited to database applications and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Ability to analyze, problem solve and interpret data;
• Ability to work independently;
• Communication and collaboration skills;
• Ability to facilitate and/or support cross-functional teams.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus 2 years applicable experience;
• Quality background;
• Experience with PowerBI;
• Experience in manufacturing, defense or government type environment;
• Basic understanding of management systems with specific experience in ISO 9001;
• Auditing experience.
