About the Position:

We are currently seeking a Civil Project Manager to add to our Colorado Team, but the position can sit our of any office (listed below). This is a great opportunity for a skilled and passionate self-starter to work directly with local and national land development projects and an already developed client base. The Civil Project Manager is responsible for the implementation, coordination, execution, financial performance, control, and timely completion of projects, and the delivery of projects/programs that are consistent with company strategies, commitments, and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision and guidance for overall objectives new concepts, critical issues, and policy matters within team; consults with Team Manager concerning unusual problems and developments and obtains approvals as appropriate.
  • Takes a leadership role in the development of new and current business, promoting repeat and referral business with existing clients, and developing new business
  • Prepares and reviews project proposals, qualification statements, and professional services agreements, promotional materials; responsible for preparation, obtaining internal and external approvals, and managing final execution and subsequent amendments.
  • Coordinates, plans, develops, and directs team during the execution of projects.
  • Takes a large role in teaching, mentoring, and delegating responsibility to staff; provides daily "on-the-job" training for team members.
  • Serves as the main contact with clients; fosters culture of effective internal and external communication between Client and team members.
  • Creates and develops project schedules and resource management that facilitates timely performance.
  • Manages project budget; communicates budget allocation to employees for their respective assignments.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering from a four-year, board-approved engineering curriculum.
  • Active PE preferred

Experience

  • Typically, a minimum of 7 years, but 12 years and above preferred
