About the Role

We are looking for a Training Technician to join our Learning and Development team. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, you will be responsible for the following items:

• Ensure new and existing live training programs run smoothly, efficiently and effectively by noting and addressing areas of improvement and issues that arise during training sessions
• Work with Marketing, Technical Trainers and Sales Engineers with the planning and execution of existing and new live training programs
• Act as a learning and development support representative for Brivo sales and support employees, as well as reseller technicians, installers and administrators by answering questions regarding training content, schedules and programs
• Arrange logistics, which includes but is not limited to readying training materials, resolving training programming issues, arranging schedules/agendas, and preparing product/technology/gift card shipments for in-person, online, outsourced and in-house professional learning experiences provided to Brivo partners and customers
• Moderate live training session which includes facilitating attendance tracking, agenda, questions, and polls
• Assist the Learning and Development team with live training-related panel and system troubleshooting
• Assist the Learning and Development team with Brivo University troubleshooting
• Assist the Learning & Development Specialist with the external Brivo certification processes (Technical, Sales, Smart Home, etc.) and data cleanliness relating to certifications
• Stay up to date with new product feature launches that impact certification training content and work with the Technical Trainer(s) and Content Developer(s) to ensure new and updated information is disseminated to resellers and customers appropriately
• Discover gaps in live training sessions and programs and work with Technical Trainer(s) and Content Developer(s) to fills those gaps through program and/or team functions modifications/enhancements, and recommend audience suitability
• Create and maintain SOPs and guides for different aspects of role based on provided training and tutorials
• Conduct the training and onboarding of other training technicians and learning and development specialists
• Assist the Learning and Development team with tasks when required/as needed
• 75% - 90% travel should be expected

About You

• The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and enjoy helping adult learners gain knowledge and skills in training sessions
• The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills
• The candidate should exercise patience, composure and technical expertise when dealing with issues that arise in live training situations
• Experience with Brivo panels, readers, other products, platforms and systems required
• Experience with manufacturer partners' readers and other Brivo-integrated products required
• Experience with Google Workspace tools and programs
• Experience with Mac OS
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with LearnUpon or other learning management systems
