Job Description Summary


The Sector Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local employers in order help participants find jobs and long-term employment / careers to achieve project goals.


Responsibilities Include :


1.Coordinates with Career Center job developers, employer stakeholders and other groups to ensure application of labor market and industry clusters in career planning activities


2.Coordinates with Career Coaches to align job seeker skills and career planning with in-demand job openings


3.Maintains knowledge of work-based learning opportunities


4.Develops relationships with local economic development groups, chambers of commerce, and professional organizations


5.Serves as point of contact for Career Center Job Developers


6.Coordination with Career Coaches to support alignment of job seeker skills to available sector openings


7.Collaboration with Career Center Job Developers and other employer stakeholders to bolster program participation and support talent needs of area employers


8.Inform and educate target audiences about the program’s goals, services, requirements, and processes


9.Develop strong relationships with local economic development groups, chambers of commerce, professional organizations, and industry clusters to support the expansion of new businesses in the region and to increase opportunities within existing businesses for both adults and adolescents


10.Support employers, employer stakeholders in their job fair efforts, coordination of interviews, recruitment, or other recruitment


11.Perform other duties as may be assigned by management


Job Summary


Essential Duties and Responsibilities :



  • Travel to and provide regular training for existing providers in one-on-one or larger settings.

  • Travel to and participate in events to recruit new providers to the program.

  • Respond to program service calls, provide responses to questions, and mail information in response to requests in the event of problems or concerns.

  • Manage all aspects of provider training and communications.

  • Responsible for escalated providers as assigned and resolving issues.

  • Attend Policy meetings and develop related communications.

  • Collaborate with other contractors and the client on communication and implementation of policy changes to the operations.

  • Manage daily workload for managed care programs such as; MediPASS, IHAWP, and assigned work.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the project.


Minimum Requirements :




  • Extensive travel is required.
