The Full Stack Software Engineer - Node.js applies software engineering and design principles to build large-scale enterprise and web applications. This role will need to be able to service limited legacy technologies while building new software in a microservice/cloud environment. Legacy technology includes SQL, SSRS, SSIS and Java. (NOTE: 2+ years of Node.js full stack developer professional experience is required.)

Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred
2+ year of experience with node.js or comparable technologies
2+ years of experience in object-oriented programming language (C# or Java or Typescript)
2+ years of experience with Angular or React or both
2+ years of experience working on large-scale, consumer facing web applications
2+ years of experience in one of the relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or the like
Working knowledge of SSRS and SSIS services is a plus
Demonstrated experience working with cloud-hosted microservice applications is a plus
Prior working experience on JIRA, Bitbucket and Confluence is a plus
Demonstrated experience working in Agile environment: Scrum or Kanban is a plus

- Write code and assists in the architecting for large-scale web and desktop applications

Develop robust testing plans

Design data structures to meet application requirements

Work with team to plan which technologies are best suited for product technologies

Maintain legacy SSRS/SSIS/SQL reporting with the team

Participates in Agile software development projects to design, code, and test websites and webservices to deliver quality services promptly. Webservices may run on a Node.js server on-prem or as microservices either in the corporate core network on in the cloud.

- Develops/codes complex application components based on detail designs developed from business user stories
