Primary Purpose:



Lead the producer and senior leader recruiting strategy in an ongoing effort to discover and acquire top-tier talent. Deliver a strong employment brand message, and ensure effective relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a business partner with sales leaders to develop effective sourcing and recruiting strategies that result in the attainment of top-tier producer and senior sales leader talent.


  2. Conduct thorough sourcing campaigns to identify qualified active and passive candidates through networking efforts, job boards, social media, and other applicable sources.


  3. Deliver a compelling brand message; tell our story and passionately convey the employee value proposition.


  4. Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that result in effective ongoing talent pipelines aimed at filling open roles effectively and efficiently.


  5. Take ownership for planning and conducting recruitment and selection processes.


  6. Strive for a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.


  7. Share insights on market trends and internal talent needs.


  8. Work in alignment with the company's commitment to foster an environment that champions eclectic and diverse viewpoints and backgrounds.


  9. Organize and/or attend targeted networking events.


  10. Use metrics as a guide to capture what is working well and to identify areas of improvement.


  11. Build and maintain positive relationships with third-party search firms.


  12. Mentor other team members as appropriate.




Required Skills and Competencies:

  1. Bachelor degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience


  2. 10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment


  3. Proven track-record of acquiring top-tier sales and senior leader talent


  4. Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape


  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and having the ability to influence candidates and business during the recruiting process


  6. Ability to manage relationships at all levels, internally and externally


  7. High level of detail orientation and conceptual thinking


  8. Comfort with ambiguity; ability to prioritize, multitask, and flex as needs and priorities change


  9. Professional demeanor and business savvy


  10. Proficiency with basic computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook


  11. Ability to travel as needed


  12. Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken




Desired Skills:




  1. Insurance industry recruiting experience


  2. Possess pipeline of top-tier insurance industry candidates


  3. Proficiency in Top Echelon’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application


  4. Third-party search firm experience


  5. Experience working for an industry-leading sales firm
