Our Senior Product Development Engineer will be responsible for leading the development of new purification solutions for the Biopharma, Bioprocessing, and other Life Science-based industries. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, proactive problem solver to work within a diverse global team.
Role Responsibilities:
Work to develop and commercialize innovative purification products for Biopharma, Bioprocessing, and other life science-based industries.
Work with internal and external partners to build up development and production capabilities
Lead execution projects from development through commercialization
Participate in project gate meetings with stakeholders to make stop/go decisions
Develop document packages for customer acceptance
Engage with a dynamic global team
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biological Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering required
5+ years relevant product development experience.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Ability to work within a global, cross-functional team
Strong presentation skills and willingness to communicate internally and externally.
Ability to travel internationally up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of product development experience preferred
Knowledge of roll-to-roll processing, molding, and adhesive bonding operations
Knowledge and experience with membranes-based purifications including ultrafiltration, RO, and microfiltration
Hands on experience prototyping and developing new prototyping techniques
Experience engaging with suppliers
