Paradigm is looking for a mid- to senior-level UX Designer with an interest and strength in business analysis and requirements gathering skills. In this role, you will use your ability to 'see the big picture' to coordinate requirements from multiple functional teams, such as marketing, product, business intelligence, support, and especially, dev/engineering. You will have the responsibility to clarify and document all requirements and development constraints in preparation for handoff to Interaction Design for implementation.

As a UX Designer you will:

  • Design flow charts, journey maps, navigation design, sitemaps, information architecture, wireframes, storyboards and prototypes.
  • Translate business and user needs and technology constraints into solution concepts that are meaningful, easy to use, and engaging
  • Research and design user experience solutions for products and service lines based on established design principles and in accordance with design strategy, practices, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with UX Research team to gather user experience data and incorporate recommendations into design workflows.
  • Develop and implement user experience design plans, changes, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with management, internal, and outsourced design and development partners to coordinate design activities, evaluate concepts and offerings, and recommend and implement changes to products or services to improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with other designers and internal and outsourced design and development partners to develop holistic, high- quality user experience solutions for moderate to complex projects, products, and services.
  • Represent the user experience design team for all phases of larger and more-complex development and design projects and programs.

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences, Research, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of prior work experience in User Experience design in a mid-to-large organization
  • Experience with application of design theories, principles, and concepts to information technology and consumer product and service design.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A developed sense of design thinking and user-centric mindset.
  • Strong understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for user experience testing and acceptance.
  • Evaluating designs and making recommendations for improvements to designs and technology to improve product quality and overall user experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate user experience data, design proposals and product specifications and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, strong oral and written communication, collaboration and teamwork.
  • A strong command of contemporary design tools including Figma and Miro.
  • A portfolio of work must be provided.
