Inside Sales Manager/Project Lead - Nationwide
IQVIA, in partnership with Boston Scientific, is looking for a strong Inside Sales Manager (ISM) with a track record of success to join our team!
The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) will lead a team of 4 Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) who will promote the assigned client product to key targets and educate physicians about the product’s features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The ISM will ensure coverage is maintained and sales goals are met. The ISM and ISRs must use approved tools and resources for product promotion that will be delivered through a 100% virtual platform.
Responsibilities:
Lead, train, coach, and develop a team of 4 ISRs
Point of Contact between Boston Scientific Project Lead and the Inside Sales Reps
Provide timely updates to Boston Scientific Project Lead on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
Recruit, interview, and select Inside Sales Reps
Work closely with Inside Sales Representatives to evaluate business conditions and sales trends.
Develop quarterly business plans to assist with targeting exercises
Lead team to successfully meet business objectives set forth by Boston Scientific
Assist in professional education activities sponsored by the client, both on-site and field training workshops if needed.
Provide timely updates to Boston Scientific Project Lead on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
Manage ISRs time off
Maintain & monitor accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and field sales reports required.
Hold scheduled performance review with Inside Sales Team.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Successfully completes and ensures ISRs complete all assigned training for the Inside Sales Representative role as well as dedicates the necessary time to both retain and build the on foundational product and clinical training
Direct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Advamed Policies, and Integrity Policies.
Compliance with promotional programs and HCP interactions.
Provide timely updates to BSCI Client Team Leader on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
Manage ISR’s maintenance and update current and prospective target Prescriber profiles
Support ISRs classification of customer clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care.
Coach ISRs to determine where our therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
Assist ISRs in identifying key referral networks for assigned product
Lead ISR call activity in scheduling virtual calls to meet with physicians to educate on assigned product
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
2+ years of relevant business experience required (pharma/med device)
Strong Communication Skills
Documented sales success
Proven leadership qualities
Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal-oriented
Excels in a fast-paced, competitive environment
Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM experience, iPad, apps, etc.)
