We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Data Quality Engineer to join our data integration solutions team for our Insights Management Platform. This position has the unique ability to drive the architecture of the quality engineering solutions within this team.Responsibilities
- Own and manage the quality assurance for processes for the data pipeline.
- Validate the completeness, accuracy, validity, timeliness, uniqueness, and consistency of the data across the data pipeline.
- Architect, execute, and maintain test automation scripts for:
- data ingestion and ETL processes
- analytical and NLP processes
- APIs that provide access to our master data
- Design and execute performance testing for processes in the data pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers and Product Owners to deliver data integration solutions with excellent quality.
- Work closely with Data Stewards to deeply understand the data model and data definitions and ensure data quality.
Requirements
Requirements- 4+ years of experience with test automation in data integration projects (ex. Data Warehousing, Big Data)
- Strong experience in the areas of ETL testing, performance testing, and API testing.
- Experience working in an Agile team environment
- Experience testing NLP processes is a plus
- DataOps Platforms: ICEDQ, BiG EVAL or similar
- Languages: Python and/or Ruby
- Databases: PostgreSQL
- API/REST Tools: GraphQL, Postman or similar
- Cloud Platforms and Monitoring: AWS, Data Dog
