About this role
BlackRock Financial Management, Inc seeks Vice President, Application Engineer, Senior Engineer I in Atlanta, GA to partner with development teams to gather and understand the project requirements. Req’s: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: leveraging software development best practices to build and release software; utilizing programming languages including Java, Perl, Python and Javascript to develop software that supports software development and release workflows; utilizing tools including Git, Azure Devops, Kubernetes and Docker to set standard for deployment as part of release engineering team; operating, developing, and diagnosing issues on platforms including Windows on Linux; and working with Agile software development methodologies. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of the above-listed fields and six (6) years of experience in the above-listed skills. Our hybrid work model
