The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Billing/Collections Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
+ Prioritize and execute based on customer and/or business urgency
+ Work with third party payer to obtain authorizations and benefits and eligibility (online or telephonically)
+ Conforms to, supports, and enforce all Company policies and procedures
+ Review and research payer specific requirement to determine required documentation and accurate billing
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
+ High School Diploma/ GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
+ Two (2) years experience in healthcare or insurance in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
+ Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast paced and changing environment
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and in writing
+ Demonstrated customer service skills
+ Microsoft Office application experience
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
