Position Summary
The Evernorth Business Communications organization provides strategic planning and communications counsel for key sales and account management initiatives. The team builds and executes on external communication campaigns to provide important information to clients and prospects in an effort to acquire or retain clients.
The Business Communications Advisor position will be actively involved in building and executing communication campaigns to support the company growth goals, utilizing lead generation and CRM systems. He/she will be responsible for leading the coordination and implementation of outbound communication activities directed toward current customers.
This position must collaborate with marketing managers, sales and account management leadership, product partners and Evernorth subject matter experts. Outstanding problem solving, attention to detail, and consulting capabilities are essential, along with excellence in tactical implementation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Experience in automated lead generation platforms preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the execution of campaigns within Marketo our marketing automation tool on a day-to-day basis to ensure execution is successful. Tasks will include building and testing each campaign prior to launch, selecting contacts to receive the communications and performing campaign analysis.
Collaborate with Marketing and Product partners to develop email campaign strategies to provide an easy user experience for our clients to receive important information on solutions and other organizational updates. This role will provide guidance on best practices to execute campaigns and how best to build within automation tool based on capabilities available.
Build lead generation programs within marketing automation tool and execute to designated list of customers. This includes building customized email templates and forms as well as ensuring contact lists are correct.
Coordinate with outside vendor and various internal departments (marketing, new solutions, sales, digital) to enhance current capabilities in order to offer more automated communications and detailed analysis in an effort to acquire new customers.
Assist with maintaining distribution lists for targeted email campaigns. This will include working in Salesforce and ensuring teams are aware of processes to maintain external contact information.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field strongly preferred
3-5+ years relevant work experience or Masters degree with a minimum of 2-4+ years relevant experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio and Project)
Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong requirements elicitation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
