Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description
A company focused on making sure quality of our city's emergency waterlines is now hiring for Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers. This is a fulltime, remote role, but they would like for potential candidates to be in Dallas, and able to come into the office 2-3 times per year.

By adding small devices to the tops of fire hydrants, they are able constantly monitor water pressures, and sends notifications so that we can be more proactive and less reactive with any possible problems. They are currently working on being able to test pH levels of the water as well in the future. They work as a team, and are looking for like-minded people, who like to find solutions to problems.
Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Full Stack Development
• C#
• SQL
• Socket and/or serial communication protocols
• JSON
• Web API
• XML

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with interpreting, parsing, and manipulating binary data
• Experience developing Microservices/Web Services
• Experience with development in cloud environment Azure
• Understanding of Agile Development Methodologies
