Director, Digital Marketing (Remote)

This role is responsible for managing Thryv.com with a focus on designing, running, and optimizing the corporate website with an emphasis on converting leads into new business for Thryv. Overseeing a team responsible for all our digital marketing channels, this role will interface with design, development, and other internal departments to drive the success of Thryv's website, blog, social media, and other B2B digital marketing channels as well as establish KPIs and scorecards that provide useful insights based on content, events, and other demand gen activities.
Defines, optimizes, and leads Thryv's digital marketing efforts, including paid and organic media, SEO acquisition strategy, and execute .com website across a variety of paid and organic channels.
Drives the .com strategy and platform along with the creative strategy for .com with a team of UX designers.
Measures and reports performance for digital marketing and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs), leveraging the analytics team.
Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimize user funnels.
Who We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience, required
10+ years of related experience, required.
12+ years of related experience, preferred.
Comprehensive industry knowledge with an in depth understanding of digital marketing and conversion strategies.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop others through hands-on, player-coach approach.
Expert interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively influence others, collaborate across teams, and foster relationships.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in .com and operationalizing a global corporate website as well as search engine optimization and building organic traffic to the website.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize website and marketing analytics tools (eg, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMrush, etc.).
Highly creative with experience identifying and targeting target audiences and retargeting.
Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
